MitoQ® Eye is an innovative CoQ10 supplement featuring patented Mitoquinol Mesylate as its key ingredient. This compound, developed after years of research, is a shortened and positively charged form of coenzyme Q10. What is coenzyme Q10?

Coenzyme Q10 is a vitamin-like substance found in every cell. Organs and tissues with high energy requirements, such as the heart, pancreas, liver, kidneys, immune system, nervous system, and muscles, contain extra amounts of it. It was discovered in 1957 by Dr. Frederick Crane, who isolated it from the mitochondria of a bovine heart. The name "Q" comes from "ubiquitous," meaning "omnipresent," reflecting its ubiquity throughout the body. Dietary sources include organ meats, poultry, nuts, whole grains, spinach, broccoli, and oily fish.

About Mitoquinol Mesylate

Mitoquinol Mesylate is the core of all MitoQ® products and is renowned worldwide. It is a modified, positively charged form of Q10, created by adding a lipophilic cation (tetraphenylphosphonium) to the molecular structure. This allows the substance to cross cell membranes and reach the mitochondria. This technique combines ubiquinol, the active form of Q10, with the tetraphenylphosphonium group.
